Matsu Inu (まついぬ) is a spin-off series to Osomatsu-san produced by Point Pictures and the Matsu Inu Production Committee. The series began airing weekly on TV Tokyo from October 7th, 2023.[1]
Overview[]
The series follows and portrays the Matsuno siblings as small, round dogs (collectively known as Matsu Inu) as they go about their daily adventures in a child-like fashion. Each episode will be no longer than 5 minutes long.
Characters[]
- Shiba Inu (しばいぬ) – A red coated Shiba Inu who likes to have fun and sleep a lot. He wears a red dog collar and resembles Osomatsu Matsuno.
- Husky (ハスキー) – A Siberian Husky who's very cool and maintains a neat appearance. He wears a blue dog collar and resembles Karamatsu Matsuno.
- Retriever (レトリバー) – A very proper and serious Golden Retriever. He wears a green dog collar and resembles Choromatsu Matsuno.
- Boston (ボストン) – A Boston Terrier who often seems tired and moody. He wears a purple dog collar and resembles Ichimatsu Matsuno.
- Pomeranian (ポメラニアン) – A very energetic, yellow-coated Pomeranian who's constantly having fun. He wears a yellow dog collar and resembles Jyushimatsu Matsuno.
- Chihuahua (チワワ) – A very charming, beautiful and cute Chihuahua with a white coat. He wears a pink dog collar and resembles Todomatsu Matsuno.
